Faison

As a commercial real estate investment firm, Faison saw potential in the existing office building at 208 East Boulevard in the heart of Southend and approached Redline to bring that to reality. With a full overhaul of the interior, and strategic upgrades to the exterior, this 1950’s building at the busy intersection of East and West Boulevards in Charlotte embodies Faison’s vision for a warm but modern workplace, while honoring legacy. Interior renovations incorporated a 24-person board room, private offices, and dynamic entertaining spaces in the two-story open area. A former conference room was transformed into an open-air covered patio with telescoping doors, creating a view of tree-lined East Blvd and neighboring uptown Charlotte. During the due diligence phase, Redline’s lead architect found a pleasant surprise when he discovered an attractive wood roof structure being concealed by existing drop ceilings. The design team promptly unveiled and showcased the unique wood structure in the second story entertainment spaces, creating a layer of texture and warmth in the space, paired with tambour wood column wraps that span the two-story open area among other timeless finish materials.
