"The Patient Is Waiting." At G1 Therapeutics, a BioPharmaceutical company, that statement drives their quest for innovative therapies to save the lives of those affected by cancer. The magnitude of their social responsibility was a driving force in the design of their new Corporate Office Headquarters in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina. As users enter the lobby of the building, they are welcomed by cantilevered wood beams over the reception desk, with suspended aluminum interwoven halo lights – a nice compliment to G1 Therapeutics’ branded logo. Interior environmental graphics help illustrate G1 Therapeutics’ commitment to supporting the cancer community to all visitors. It was critical to provide proximity to amenities like Break Rooms, Huddle Rooms, and Phone Rooms. Featuring sleek walnut treads and steel mesh risers with an industrial steel structure, a new interconnecting stair was designed as a connection point between all three floors.
