Husband and wife duo chef Greg Collier and Subrina Collier brought their beloved breakfast-theme concept to the new Vantage South End building and asked Redline to develop their new space. Our design inspiration is based on “Memphis Style” Architecture, which we characterize through bright colors, bold lines, shapes and patterns. The existing shell is two stories high with a curtain wall along two of the facades, letting in tons of natural light. To make a more intimate space without losing all that natural light, we added a wood trellis with geometric shapes over the bar to the exposed concrete structure above. We also added a customized raised platform seating area. Both the bar and platform seating area have fun geometric decorative lighting. The raised platform also has high/low banquette seating which is separated by custom geometric railing. Redline also developed the branded wall graphics with a fun nod to the Queen City and Instagrammable moments hidden throughout the space.
