After an acquisition of a local firm, V3 (a landscape design and civil engineering firm) was ready to make their Charlotte home present in the fast-growing LoSo neighborhood. With a history of partnerships, V3 trusted Redline with the challenge to reflect their core value message of “The Vision to Transform with Excellence” throughout their office design and going into a first generation yet industrially designed space, there were endless opportunities to bring this alive for the client.

Needing to separate multiple internal groups for functionality, the office was designed with an interior office core, allowing for the open office workstations to take full advantage of the natural light from the oversized surrounding exterior windows. Pulling inspiration from V3’s line of work, Redline used deep, earthy tones to center the office spine, and lighter, natural colors around the perimeter. Fun feature areas including a custom plant wall and gabion wall-inspired breakroom island brought elements of civil design into the space. To further the interior “landscape”, natural patterns and materials were pulled into the wall treatments and furniture selections, bringing the outdoors in.
