VERIZON CALL CENTER
CHARLOTTE, NC
90,000 SF
Verizon was shopping the Charlotte market for a large footprint for their new call center when they found the INQ Building Redline Design Group had previous turned from a Super Kmart into a Class-A office building. The program was enormous with regard to employee count, which could have resulted in a massive sea of workstations. However, Redline broke the space down by providing “transparent cores” that served to scale the space down to more intimate “team” zones. These cores are easy to see and pass through to keep a sense of unity. The front entry lobby is an open 2 story space with a decorative stair and large master-graphics, as well as a sculpted wall. The finishes are fun and vibrant to help reflect and encourage energy and enthusiasm. Bold graphics are well-placed and echo the energy of the employees.
