TRIPLE C BREWING COMPANY

CHARLOTTE, NC

20,000 SF

A huge boom in economic development came from the addition of the Blue Line Lynx Light Rail through the heart of a declining SouthEnd area of South Charlotte. At the same time, Charlotte was quietly becoming a growing hub for microbreweries. Triple C Brewing Co. selected an incredible, historic bow-truss warehouse building just yards away from the light rail. Redline was brought in to evaluate the site and building for becoming a potential brewery. Redline sought to keep as much of the built-in character of the existing building as possible, including exposed wood joists, steel bow-trusses, brick walls and concrete floors. A palette of rustic wood, dark steel and glass was used to complement the existing finishes. The tap room has a clear view into the brewery room and massive stainless-steel brewing equipment via a large, butt-glazed window.
