In 2011, Northeastern University embarked on a campaign of establishing Regional Campuses in select U.S. cities. NEU’s goal was to develop modern campuses - regional platforms for graduate education and collaborations between higher education and industry. NEU selected the most prominent corner in Charlotte as its first location to market its programs to working professionals seeking graduate degrees. The space is an open, well-lit modern space with graphic displays, custom wood accent wall, stone flooring, classic furniture and sleek ceilings. Adjacent, is a flexible conference room that serves as a private recruitment room. The upper floor of this 2 floor upfit contains the main classrooms, administrative offices, reception, break rooms and restrooms. High-end furniture with classic textiles along with well-placed displays help accent clean modern lines.
