Winstead desired to create a new space that would showcase their brand to the Charlotte market. Their initial build-out of almost a full floor, quickly led to an expansion project to take the remainder of the floor, as well as more space on an adjacent floor.
Each of Winstead’s offices throughout the country have their own look and palette of finishes, which allowed for freedom in creating a design that would be unique to Charlotte. The use of light colored materials throughout the space provides a very weightless and open feel in a space primarily of private offices. Carefully selected and uncommon materials such as banana bark wallcovering are featured on recessed portions of the reception wall and ceiling. Accents ranging from fresh light green wallcoverings, to deeper greens in the back office bring a refreshing and different look for a corporate office.
Back-painted glass top conference tables, paired with near-white and stain resistant upholstered conference chairs are a nice alternative to heavy wood tables and dark chairs. Our local source for artwork brought about a carefully curated collection of art throughout the lobby, conference center and back office to integrate more color and interest throughout the space.
