The Switch Yard is a two-building site with a parking deck in-between, located just minutes outside of downtown Charlotte in the old railway/warehouse district. Our design team sought to reference the freight and track history of the area by using materials and design gestures that reflected elements such as train trestles and worn box cars. We gave the brand a historical weathered look to integrate it with the architecture and materials of the original buildings and new steel structures.
