Rick Hendrick BMW
This 36,000 sq. ft. BMW dealership proved to be quite challenging as it was built directly adjacent to the old facility it was replacing. However, part of the old building had to be demolished to make room for the new, and it had to remain in operation throughout the new construction. The final product was a larger, more modern, sleek, European building with simple but striking exterior lines that reflect BMW's attention to design and detail. This high-level of design translated to the interior as well, with large glass walls, sleek metal trims and panels, wood accents and strategically located brand graphics. The customer amenity areas, such as the lounge, were designed to be the ultimate in comfort and reflect the dealer’s quest to make the customer feel appreciated. The generous service department was also designed to get the customer's cars back in quick order, thus reducing customer inconvenience. This facility has already turned the heads of the customers almost as much as the cars have.
